Eurojuris International 25th Anniversary - Registration open
Dear Eurojuris Member,
Eurojuris International welcomes you to the heart of Europe to celebrate its 25th Anniversary.
Between 12 and 15 October, our annual showcase event will allow you to meet your Eurojuris colleagues and get to know them better. A good opportunity to strengthen your personal network!
We are very pleased to welcome some national General Assemblies, who will be joining us to help mark this important event. Belgium, Germany and France are taking advantage of our 25th anniversary to also gather in Brussels, in order to make our Congress as memorable as possible.
We will be staying in one of the best hotels in Brussels, the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, which has a modern Art Deco façade that includes a stunning atrium. It is conveniently located in the city centre. Moreover, we have managed to get an excellent rate, which is a nice incentive for the young(er) lawyers in your firm to join us too.
We will take advantage of the best restaurants in town. The early birds who arrive on Thursday will have the chance to visit Brussels Town Hall on the Grand Place, where a reception will be held by the City of Brussels, followed by dinner at 'La Maison du Cygne', located on the same square. For our Friday dinner, we will meet at one of the trendiest restaurants in Brussels: La Quincaillerie. Located in a former ironmonger’s shop and designed by a student of Victor Horta, it is the perfect place to network and enjoy authentic Belgian cuisine! The Saturday Gala dinner (black tie) will take place at the Concert Noble, a very exclusive venue since 1873. This will be the occasion for some surprises!
Eurojuris Belgium has been co-organising the event and would like to invite you to a reception in a wonderful place called 'de Warande' after having listened to our keynote speakers on Friday afternoon. The internationally renowned experts we have invited to address us will be looking into their crystal balls at the challenges facing all law firms over the next 25 years, at the opportunities that will be open to them and the threats they will face.
Paul Redmond will tell us what the lawyers of the future will look like: why they will be very different to previous generations, how they think, what attracts them and what motivates them; how we can harness the skills and passions of millennials to enhance our businesses and how we can still encourage loyalty in an increasingly mobile world.
While artificial intelligence is very much on lawyers’ radar already, Nell Watson will introduce us to other emerging technologies that will have a major impact on the legal profession, the services it offers and the way it delivers those services, such as zero-knowledge proofs and machine ethics. She will also talk about the social impact of those changes.
A variety of groups will meet and work on Corporate Law, Employment law, Insolvency, Restructuring and Banking Law, Intellectual Property Law, International Litigation ADR and Contracts, International Trade Transport & Insurance Law, Real Estate law and Sport & events team. The International Business Group (IBG) will meet on Friday.
And for those who like sports and challenges, a Eurojuris Golf Cup has been organised for the Thursday and the traditional football match on Saturday. Will you be on the winning team?
Registration is now open!
