EUROJURIS is the leading network of law firms in Europe, covering 630 different cities/locations in more than 40 countries worldwide.
 
Each European country has a national EUROJURIS Chapter which selects as members medium-sized independent law firms well established in their country and who satisfy the Eurojuris selection criteria.
 
The objective is to provide companies, corporations, public authorities and private clients with direct legal advice and local representation all over Europe.

The European Commission takes action against Spain
The EU Commission decided by the end of October 2011 to sue Spain before the European Court of Justice (ECJ) since the Spanish inheritance and gift tax regulations in Spain discriminate non-residents.
Income Tax for foreign property owners
Foreign nationals who are not registered for tax in Spain but own property in the country must submit a tax declaration for their income tax to the state tax office every year. This involves the so-called Impuesto de la Renta de No Residentes (Income Tax for Non-residents).
Major Changes in German Insolvency Law entered into force on March 1, 2012
In an effort to facilitate the restructuring of companies struck by the economic crisis, the Insolvency Statute (“Insolvenzordnung”) has undergone major changes. The main objective of the new Insolvency Statute is to strengthen the position and influence of the creditors and to provide for more reliability in the course of the insolvency proceedings.
