Expertise and professional education

Franz was admitted to the Austrian Bar in 1986. He has a master’s degree in Social and Economic Sciences (1974) and completed his Doctor of Laws in 1980. His vocational training includes working as an auditing assistant and as a teaching and research assistant for the Department of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation at the University of Innsbruck, legal clerkship at the Innsbruck District and Regional Courts, and legal practice with firms in Zurich and Frankfurt. Franz Pegger was appointed the titles “Fachhochshul-Professor” and “University Professor” in 2003. His many teaching and lecturing appointments include legal and economic subjects at the University of Innsbruck, the Management Center Innsbruck, the School of Economics and Business Management at the University of applied Sciences Kufstein, the Institute for Economic Promotion of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, the Lawyers Academy Vienna, and Lundbeck Austria GmbH.
