Jason Hanna is an Attorney at Kearney, McWilliams & Davis, PLLC, practicing in litigation, probate, estate planning, and elder law. Each of these practice areas is closely interrelated, and developing strategies to protect or transfer wealth to successive generations is a common theme in each. For Jason, whether it is assisting Medicaid applicants in restructuring their estates to obtain eligibility for long-term care Medicaid programs or helping clients to determine the best estate plan for their situation, it is always about protecting client interests—in and out of the courtroom. A native of Galveston, Jason now lives north of Houston, practicing in Harris and surrounding counties. Jason proudly served his nation with distinction in Afghanistan in 2005 and 2006. After separation from active duty in 2008, and with the values and principles he learned during his career in the U.S. Air Force—integrity, service before self, and the pursuit of excellence—Jason graduated with a 4.0 from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas in 2011. He later graduated magna cum laude from South Texas College of Law in 2014. Mr. Hanna is licensed to practice law in Texas and is based in the Houston, Texas office of Kearney, McWilliams & Davis.
