Jonathan works for a very wide range of clients who are involved, one way or another, in property. These can be owner managed businesses in Hertfordshire, London or in the wider area, developers looking to acquire sites for future potential planning gain, new or expanding businesses looking to lease or buy or sell premises, property investors who wish to add to their portfolio, land owners and farmers looking to increase the value of their sites, and banks and other lenders wishing to secure loans against property.

Professional education

Jonathan graduated with a degree in European finance and accountancy. He started his career as an auditor and accountant, working for large financial and banking organisations, before retraining as a lawyer. He qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and joined Turner & Debenhams (now Debenhams Ottaway) in 2002. He became a partner in 2003. Jonathan also qualified as a notary public in 2001.
