Justin has more than 20 years’ experience in employment law, having qualified as a solicitor in 1998.
His legal expertise and commercial advice means that some of the region’s largest corporates and SMEs turn to him for business-critical advice. He provides board-level advice prior to them drafting business and workforce strategic plans. He advises UK and US General Counsel and HR Directors and assists UK subsidiaries in the implementation of their global strategic plans. Consequently, Justin is often the link between the HR, legal and management teams. Justin helps clients defend complex Employment Tribunal claims and has particular experience in defending whistleblowing, discrimination and TUPE claims as well as disputes involving breaches of restrictive covenants and confidential information. Justin has a strong reputation for his advisory work involving redundancy and business re-organisation projects, TUPE issues and executive exits.
Justin is spearheading IBB’s European law initiative. He regularly attends international conferences to enhance his contacts with lawyers across Europe. He now has personal relationships with lawyers from each major jurisdiction in Europe and a number in the Middle East. He is proactively engaging with the networks and is able to mobilise lawyers all across Europe quickly and seamlessly.
