Malcolm Underhill is a personal injury specialist, particularly focusing upon high value and complex cases, including serious and long term head injury, child abuse, fatalities, psychological injury and spinal injury.

Malcolm Underhill is a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and an accredited Brain Injury Specialist.

He regularly acts for clients in challenging cases.

Malcolm is listed as a leader in his field by Chambers UK legal directory 2018 and is the Co-ordinator for the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers Damages Special Interest Group. Malcolm has also completed an academic period of study to further develop knowledge of the physiology of the brain and the effects of injury, as well as rehabilitation. The Certificate in Brain Injury Studies was awarded by Headway, the brain injury charity, who ran the course in partnership with Northampton University.

As an expert in the area of obtaining compensation for serious injuries, including child abuse and brain injuries Malcolm delivers training on The Law of Damages (through APIL) to other solicitors.
