About the law firm

Languages : English, German, French Since K&D Law Firm is founded, we aimed to give legal service in particular globally and have focused mostly on extending our foreign client portfolio and we believe that we achieved our initial aim. While our services vary in different fields of law, the line of our services which we give to our foreign clients fundamentally based on Business Law, Corporate Law, Debt Recovery, Real Estate Law, Divorce Law, Work and Residence permit and Wills and Probate. We also give legal service in the fields of Employment Law and Compensation Law for our local clients. In Corporate Law field, we mostly proceed the establishment of a company or branch office (LLC, Inc. or sole corporation) for our foreign clients in Turkey and apply for the residence or work permit for the founders, managers or the workers of the company. In case the company asks for importing or selling some products which is depend on some licenses, we also proceed the licencing process. While we establish the company or the branch office, we give consultancy service about the monthly cost of a company in Turkey such as taxation, social insurance etc. In Business Law, the conflicts in which we give service mostly arise from trading between a foreign company and a local company. After sending notify letter and trying to solve the case by peaceful means and the conflict still requires a litigation, we file a case to prove the debt and if the case is successful we start the debt recovery process according to the Turkish Law procedure. The debt recovery process includes seizing the real estates, bank accounts, cars etc. In Real Estate Law, we give service to our foreign clients for the title-deed transactions including research and give consultancy services about the property in regard to the land or unit information, market value, mortgages on the property etc. We also give service to our foreign clients to demand compensation if they could not take delivery of their real estate properties on time according to the agreement. In Divorce Law, we file consensual or contested cases for our foreign clients who wants to divorce in Turkey including the child support, alimony or custody issues. In Wills and Probate Law, we mostly give service to our foreign clients whose inheritors have personal property or a real estate in Turkey and we proceed the transition of the properties. We apply to the court to get the certificate of inheritance, proceed the taxation process of inheritance and finally proceed the transition of the real estate or personal properties. For our local clients, we mostly give service in Employment Law to our company-clients about the remuneration, severance and notice pay conflicts with the company and the former employees. We mostly represent our clients at the civil cases against the former employees while we represent less personal clients against the companies. Other than Employment Law, we give service to our local clients in insurance conflicts mostly arising from traffic accidents or car damages. In this field, we represent personal clients against the insurance companies.
